Wycombe could be one game from relegation Wycombe could be one game from relegation

HIGH Wycombe RFC are as good as relegated after losing 36-10 at Newbury Blues, the team directly above them in the table.

Second-from-bottom Wycombe are now 18 points behind Blues with five games left.

They have also played a game more than Newbury and 11 defeats in their last 12 games has left the Kingsmead club on the South West 1 East precipice ahead of next Saturday's visit from second-placed Old Centralians.

Meanwhile, Marlow are all but safe after a 27-27 draw with Bletchley.

Elsewhere, Amersham and Chiltern trounced Malvern 73-33 in National League 3 South West while Beaconsfield's fight against the drop in London 1 North was dealt a blow by a 30-22 defeat at Luton.
