Watters keeps Southern League hopes alive

CHESHAM United need to beat Arlesey tomorrow night after maitaining their Southern League promotion charge with another victory on Saturday.

They won 1-0 at Bedford thanks to Chris Watters' first-half goal, but Andy Leese' men are still seven points adrift of the play-off spots.

In Division One Central, Beaconsfield climbed back in the play-off spots with a 3-0 home win over Woodford while Chalfont St Peter were 5-1 winners over AFC Hayes.
