A fast-food giant has applied for permanent permission to keep its drive-through restau rant open for the whole weekend.
McDonalds have applied to be given permanent permission to allow the restaurant in Eastern Avenue, Shoreham, to trade from 5am to midnight on Monday to Thursday and trade continuously from 5am on Friday to midnight on Sunday.
The firm is looking to extend the one year extension to hours it was permitted to undertake in February last year.
The store’s original opening hours in 2004 were from 7am to 11pm daily.
