DOZENS of beautiful bovines will be on display during the annual Amberley Cow Hunt.

Families are welcome to take part in the popular event between 1pm and 5pm over the bank holiday weekend of Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.

To celebrate the forthcoming arrival of the real cows to the common, Amberley Primary School's cow hunt will see more than 30 wonderfully attired wooden cows located around Amberley and the common.

Besides spotting all the 'amoosingly' named cows, along the way you can stop off at the fabulous vintage tea tent where there will be a sumptuous array of homemade cakes.

Face painting, funny photo booth and other children's activities will be available along with the Cow Hunt quiz.

Quiz sheets and trail maps available from the start of the trail near Amberley Parochial School at the top of Culver Hill (GL5 5JG).

All funds raised go to help the school plus the Send a Cow charity which provides livestock for families in Africa. Follow the preparations at www.facebook.com/AmberleyCowHunt
