Bell lands late conversion to save Wasps
WASPS A at last have something to cling on to this season after holding London Irish to a 17-17 draw on Monday night.
The A team got little change out of trips to Bath and Exeter, conceding more than 100 points in the two games.
But there was better news from Sunbury as a try from Neil Cochrane plus five points from the boot of Tommy Bell meant the two teams were level after 40 minutes.
Irish pulled ahead with a converted try after 64 minutes, but with just three minutes left Wasps crossed again with a great forwards drive and Bell landed the difficult conversion to square the match.
