Paris hails 'complete professional' Bloomfield
PARIS Cowan-Hall said his Wanderers team mates should look up to Matt Bloomfield after saying the midfielder was the complete professional.
Fans' favourite Bloomfield is now back in the Blues first team squad and closing in on his 300th appearance for the club after missing more than a year through injury.
He marked his return with a goal on Tuesday night and in his first League Two start since August 2012 he put in a superb cross that enabled Cowan-Hall to score the first of his two goals against Torquay.
Then when Cowan-Hall netted the winner Bloomfield, who by this stage had been substituted, ran onto the pitch in delight to celebrate with the rest of his team mates.
Cowan-Hall said: "He's the complete professional. He works hard day in, day out, doesn't moan about things. I'd be the worst if I was out for that long. It's a credit to him and he deserves everything he gets because he's the nicest guy as well.
"If I could be half of how professional he is, that's what I'm striving to be like. He's a good role model."
The former Plymouth man has had injury problems of his own in recent months but he was back with a bang as he scored a brace on Saturday.
He said: "I'm really bad at being injured so it's even worse for me. I've got to take the rough with the smooth and I'm having the smooth at the moment."
