WASPS have already sold more than 10,000 tickets for their St George’s Day game against Gloucester at Twickenham on April 19.
The St George’s Day game attracted more than 100,000 fans in its first two seasons and club chief executive Nick Eastwood is expecting another bumper crowd.
He said: “We are delighted that over three months out from the event we have already sold over 10,000 tickets for The Stinger and we are hugely optimistic of a great crowd at Twickenham for what is set up to be a brilliant day.
“The Stinger is obviously a flagship fixture for the club and we are doing a lot of work behind the scenes to prepare some exciting things for the day which we will be announcing over the coming weeks.”
