WANDERERS have their fingers crossed Dean Morgan will be fit to face his former club Oxford.

The striker has been out for nearly a month with a hamstring injury, with manager Gareth Ainsworth saying he was close to making the squad that faced Morecambe at the weekend.

He said: "Dean's touch and go. He could potentially make the game. He did so well in the first game, he'll be champing at the bit to get back. He does well against his former clubs.

"He will be assessed but we won't risk a hamstring injury."

Morgan is the only fitness doubt for Ainsworth, with long term absentees Jon-Paul Pittman and Charles Dunne the only players who will definitely sit out.

Anthony Stewart is eligible to play after serving a one game ban for being sent off against AFC Wimbledon.
