JACK Goff will drive in the 2014 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship again next season.

The 22-year-old from High Wycombe showed enough promise last season to keep his place in the RCIB Insurance Racing squad.

He said: “It’s brilliant to have a second year. We had no testing or development last year, so with every race meeting I was learning the car and the team was learning the set-up, but we had good speed even if we couldn’t show it in all the races.

“We’ve brought in some new personnel to the team as well which should really help with the car.

“It’s going to be tough at the front of the field without a doubt, but there’s no reason why we can’t be fighting for podiums from the word go, and hopefully snatch that first win when we can.”

After showing flashes throughout last season, Goff and the team got it right in the final round when he went bumper to bumper with outgoing champion Gordon Shedden before finishing second for his first podium.

The 2012 Renault Clio Cup champion said: “The last race of the season has certainly helped me over the winter.

"I’m lucky in that my sponsors have stuck with me over the last few years  RCIB Insurance, HSL and all the other guys make this possible, so it’s great to be out there fighting for them again.”

In addition to the main team sponsor, Goff continues to be supported since his first drive in the Renault Clio Cup by a host of companies in the entertainment technology industry – including HSL and High Wycombe-based AC-ET.
