CHESHAM United are hoping it will be third time lucky tomorrow night, when they are scheduled to take on Aylesbury United in the semi-final of the B&B Cup in Leighton Buzzard.

The match has twice been postponed already and more rain today means tomorrow's game is also in doubt.

Chesham were also frustrated on Saturday, when they went to Burnham in the Southern Premier League only to have the game called off.

Manager Andy Leese said: "We face another week of waiting to see if we can get a game on after travelling to Burnham in vain on Saturday.

"It will be a test against Aylesbury United, but one where we have to look at our priorities in terms of who plays in the game.

"We have a heavy schedule of league games this month and next, and we need to manage the squad to ensure we look after players who have played a lot of games, and play those who need to stay sharp for the run in."
