DEAN Morgan's hamstring injury is likely to keep him out of training for days rather than weeks, Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth said.
The striker played the full 90 minutes against Accrington Stanley on Saturday on his comeback from injury but he broke down before half time against Fleetwood in midweek.
Tests have shown Morgan has picked up a fresh injury, rather than aggravating the old one, and Ainsworth is optimistic it's not another tear of the muscle.
He said: "We are not totally sure of what he's injured at the moment. I've been told by Theo [Farley, physio] it's in a different place and a slightly different type of injury that's occurred. I don't think he's torn a muscle.
"Maybe there's a little bit more he has to go through before he's back but I don't think we are looking at another six weeks. It could be days rather than weeks for Dean, which is really positive. I don't want to give any targets and say he's back for Saturday or next Saturday. He's a big player for us and I want him back, not breaking down again."
