DREW Roberts is now the Southern League's top scorer as his brace gave promotion chasing Chesham United another win on Saturday.

The in-form striker made it 26 for the season as he notched a goal in each half of the Generals' 2-1 home victory against Frome Town.

He opened the scoring on the stroke of half time from the penalty spot, before the visitors hit back to level through Matt Groves.

Roberts won it though as he headed home from a free kick rewarded as a result of Rhys Baggridge being shown his second yellow card.

Elsewhere Marlow won their first game in three weeks, with Jon Bennett scoring twice as Blues overturned an early deficit to beat Dunstable 2-1, and Chalfont St Peter drew 1-1 at home to Uxbridge. The near neighbours go head-to-head at Oak Tree Road tomorrow.

Beaconsfield SYCOB's trip to St Ives on Saturday was postponed. They go to Aylesbury United tomorrow.
