RGS High Wycombe have made history after qualifying both their U15 and U19 squash teams for national finals day.

It’s the first time the school has ever seen two teams reach the finals of the England Squash and Racketball National Schools Squash Tournament, which will take place in Manchester from March 10-13.

With the U19s already through, the U15s joined them with a nail-biting 3-2 victory over Epsom.

They were 2-1 down in the game but rallied to make it 2-2 before winning the final match 3-0 to take overall victory.

They also beat Windsor on their way to Manchester, while the U19s got the better of John Hampden Grammar School.

RGS have entered teams in both boys’ age groups for the past eight years and reached the finals in 2010 and 2013.

This is the first time both squads have made it though, with the U15s due to compete in the cup competition and the U18s in the trophy.
