Chesham won 2-0 against Chippenham with Lawrie Stewart and James Potten on target, while Hemel beat Poole by the same margin.
The gap remains six points then, although Hemel can go nine points clear tomorrow when they host Stourbridge.
Chesham go to Redditch United on Saturday.
Meanwhile, their league win follows a 3-1 Bucks Cup semi-final win over Aylesbury United last Thursday.
Tashan Dwyer scored twice with Bobby Devyne also on target They will play Beaconsfield in the final in the first week of May.
