FOR the first time in the Southern Premier League title race Chesham United's fate is in their own hands; if they win their remaining games they'll be champions.
After trailing Hemel Hempstead by 11 point not so long ago, Chesham have won 13 games in a row and are now just five points adrift with a game in hand and a match against their long-time rivals still to come.
On Saturday they shaved another two points off Hemel's lead with a 4-1 win at Bideford thanks to a brace from Jamie Potten and further goals from Drew Roberts and Alex Brown.
But four games in just over a week will settle it; they go to Poole on Thursday night, host Stourbridge on Saturday before going to Hemel on Easter Monday.
Their regular season ends at home to Weymouth on Saturday, April 26.
