CHESHAM United won the Bucks County Cup for the 15th time in their history last night.

In a repeat of last year's final, they turned the tables on defending champions Beaconsfield SYCOB to win it 1-0.

Drew Roberts deflected shot was all that separated the sides, but Chesham boss Andy Leese will be delighted to have won and raised the mood at the club after their title hopes faded over Easter.

They lost three games in a row to lose sight of Southern Premier League leaders Hemel Hempstead, but last night's cup triumph will hope raise the spirits ahead of next Tuesday's home promotion play-off.
