ANDY Goode says Sunday’s cup tie with Bath is the first of four cup finals for Wasps – five if they earn a European play-off game.
He said: “You look at every game from now until the end of the season and every game is pretty much a cup final. This weekend is a semi-final but if you lose that competition is over for us.
“Then the week after we face Newcastle at home in a must-win before travelling to Northampton where we could need a good result to finish in seventh place. Every game has something massive on it.”
Bath head coach Mike Ford said: "I don’t think we can afford not to get to the final. In our stage of development as a team, we need to win a semi-final and then win that final.
“We will pick as strong a side as we can. We can’t afford to disrespect a European semi-final. We’re not good enough to do that and expect to win.”
