FLACKWELL Heath U15s are on course for an historic treble this season as they build towards the final of the Wycombe & South Bucks League Cup on Sunday.

They will play Hercules Lions at Buckingham FC for the trophy, having already lifted the Berks and Bucks Cup this spring.

They are also odds-on to win the league having won all but one of the games they’ve played so far this season.

However, their only defeat came last weekend and it was a tense 4-3 loss against their final opponents on Sunday.

But Flackwell will be confident of redressing the balance after completing the first part of the treble the hard way, playing and winning away in each of the six rounds of the competition before beating last year’s winners Windsor 2-0 in the final.

Tyrell Murray and Nick Dimitrijevic scored in each half to secure the trophy, before Flackwell booked their place in the League final the following weekend with a thumping 6-1 victory over the same opponents.

A victory over Hercules would make it two from two and they will hope to reel in Windsor to add the league title later this month.

Windsor are two points clear at the top, but Flackwell’s cup exploits mean they have three games in hand.
