Bucks Free Press: Penn & Tylers Green won their first ever County Cup Penn & Tylers Green won their first ever County Cup

PENN & Tylers Green are celebrating their first County Cup victory after their reserves finally saw off Wantage Town A in a nail-biting penalty shoot-out.

Neither side could break the deadlock during 90 minutes and the stalemate continued during the 30 minutes of extra time.

That meant penalties, and keeper John Harding was their hero with two saves while Michael Benning, Matthew Miller, Ben Heathers and Oliver Mulry all scored from the spot to create club history.

Meanwhile, Penn & Tylers Green U12s were crowned Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League Mayor’s Cup winners after beating Slough Town Youth 3-0.

Jayden Moore, Joe Styles and Rease Wing scored the winners.
