WYCOMBE Cricket Club Ladies cruised to victory in their opening match of the season, beating Eastcote at London Road.
Eastcote won the toss and elected to bat, but they were all out for 73 with captain Angeli Lotay taking six wickets, including three two-wicket maidens.
Lotay and Katie Hudson then batted Wycombe to victory without a wicket falling in just 10.4 overs.
Lauren Head was named Player of the Match after a superb fielding display.
Lotay said: “The first match of the season is always full of anticipation and I am a very proud captain.
"The team really pulled together and secured a much-deserved win."
The Ladies team is on course to tour Barbados this autumn and is organising a series of fundraising events as well as seeking local companies as sponsors.
