SPEED Demons coach Helen Hinde will realise a dream this weekend when she competes for Great Britain at the Duathlon World Championships.
Hinde, who runs the Hughenden Ladies running group as well as coaching some of the best up and coming athletes in Bucks, will compete in the masters event in Spain.
She earned her place in the GB squad at the Dambuster Duathlon in Leicestershire in March, when more than 1,000 turned out for this World Championship qualifying event.
The race included a 10km run, 42km cycle ride followed by a 5km run and Hinde was in top form to come home in a time of 2:38.21.
This was good enough for fifth overall in the 50-54 category and a ticket to Spain.
