BLUES supporters won't get the opportunity to thank their side's newest cult hero next season after he earned a transfer to League One.
Colin Daniel wrote his name into Wanderers folklore last season despite never wearing the quarters, as his winning goal for Mansfield Town against Bristol Rovers saved Wycombe from relegation.
Fans had been set to give him a hero's welcome to Adams Park next season when Blues next face Mansfield in the league.
But the Stags have announced today the winger has secured a move to the division above after joining Port Vale.
