MATT Ingram will be staying with Wanderers next year even if he is sold - but Anthony Stewart's future at the club is less clear.

Blues say they have no intention of letting their goalkeeper go, but they would want to bring him back to Adams Park on loan in the event of him leaving the club.

The former John Hampden School pupil was voted fans' player of the year last season and attracted the interest of scouts last season.

But Wanderers Trust director David Roberton said: "Matt Ingram will definitely be with us next year.

"Even if we did sell Matt Ingram he would prefer, and his parents would prefer, if he stays here for a season. But we are not actively looking to sell anyone."

Roberton added it's less certain what will happen to Wanderers' last two remaining out of contract players, defender Stewart and forward Junior Morias.

He hoped a decision would be made within "the next few days" on Morias, but said there had been frustrations in negotiating with Stewart's agent over a new deal.

Even if the youngster rejects a new contract Wanderers would be entitled to a transfer fee because of his age.

And although no deadline has been set for Stewart to make his mind up, Blues are keen for him to decide sooner rather than later.

Roberton said: "We would like to get those two players sorted out very quickly. Anthony Stewart, it's somewhat frustrating in the people we have to deal with. Whether he's staying, I couldn't say.

"We do want an answer on Anthony Stewart. We are being patient but it's not an easy situation to get an answer out of."
