SOME of the most talented squash players in Bucks shared a court with their England idols last week when Commonwealth Games-bound Peter Barker and Chris Gillespie came to Wycombe Squash and Racket Club.

Barker, the world number eight, and Gillespie played in six ten-minute matches against club members, with U15s Bucks champion Freddie Evans and U15s Bucks Girls runner up Sydney Wallace both getting the opportunity to play against the best.

Barker then took on and beat Bucks champions Tom Power 11-6, 11-5 before playing an exhibition match against Gillespie.

Both internationals then stayed for a Q&A session with members.

Meanwhile, WSRC will take part in a Women and Girls Roadshow on June 28 followed by a Play the Pro session, when members will have the chance to play a top-20 female player.
