CREWS from around the world will compete against club and school entries from Bucks when the Marlow Regatta takes to the water at Dorney Lake tomorrow.

The action is compressed into one day this year, with time trials followed by A, B and C finals taking over from the traditional format of heats.

Competing on home waters against rivals from as far afield as South Africa and Australia will be crews from Marlow and Sir William Borlase’s.

Marlow Regatta chairman Peter Blaseby said: “Although the regatta committee are disappointed that they have had to revert to a single day regatta for 2014 due to the unavailability of the venue on Sunday, we are delighted that the entries are so strong.”
