AMERSHAM Swimming Club picked up 17 golds in a 42-medal haul at the Tilehurst Open Meet in Reading.
The meet is intended to give less experienced swimmers the opportunity to test out their slower strokes, but Amersham still showed their strength in depth with every swimmer competing leaving Reading with a new personal best.
Nine-year old Alic Crowston was one of the stars of the day with five gold medals as she touched the wall first in the 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 100m individual medley, 50m backstroke and 50m breaststroke.
Jesse Welsh added golds in the 50m freestyle and 50m and 100m backstroke while Alex Lawman was also a three time winner in the 100m individual medley, 50m breaststroke and 100m freestyle.
Florie Moir (50m freestyle, 100m individual medley) and Amelie Brown (50m and 100m backstroke) won two golds each while for the boys James Doland and Liam Ballard were both winners.
Dolan won the 50m breaststroke while Ballard won the 50 freestyle.
Other medal winners included Amber Restall, Jessica Thornton, Isobel Ashby, Bailey Cameron, Emily Roycroft, Alex Bainbridge and Jasmine Van Rest.
