DON Woodward said Blues hope to unveil two or three 'mouthwatering' signings within the next couple of weeks - which is likely to complete their summer shopping.

The Wanderers chairman said he had met with some of the players that manager Gareth Ainsworth hopes to bring to Adams Park this week.

Should they agree to sign it will mean the squad for the new season will be nearly complete, Woodward said.

He said: "We've been meeting with a couple of people and I'm hoping we will have another couple in soon.

"The squad's getting pretty full. If we get two or three of the ones I've been meeting and talking to and about this week, it will be pretty close to a full squad with lots of cover and good team shape.

"The prospect's quite mouthwatering."

This week Blues signed Peter Murphy to add to their other new arrivals Paul Hayes, Aaron Pierre and Sido Jombati.
