Micklefield's magnificent seven

Bucks Free Press: Dylan Stone, Tom Hale of  Stokenchurch Judo Club, Jesse Chraniuk of Micklefield, High Wycombe’s Daniel Grilli and Bobby Pusey, also of Micklefield, received their medals from Paul Horseman. MICKLEFIELD Judo Club won a magnificent seven medals at their home Under 8 Preparation event on Sunday, fighting off competition from Hazlemere, Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, Windsor, Wokingham and Camberley.

Bobby Pusey and Elodie Marsland each won golds, with Pusey also winning the Player of the Day award.

Samuel O’Dell and Alfie White both added silver medals while bronzes came from Jesse Chraniuk, Nils Matisovs and Marcis Lazdins.

Meanwhile, High Wycombe’s Daniel Grilli was awarded Ippon of the Day.
