YET again bad weather has made a mockery of the cricket season with almost all fixtures wiped out at the weekend.

High Wycombe's home game with Harefield in Division One of the Home Counties League had to be ababandoned, while Aston Rowan'ts trip to Henley was off completely.

In Division Two, Chessham game at Shipton-U-Wychwood was cancelled after 20 overs although Amersham did get a game, but they lost a tense match with Horspath, who reached 142-9 chasing Amersham's 140 all out.

Meanwhile, in the Thames Valley League, Marlow's match at Yately was cancelled although Beaconsfield (190-6) drew with Kidmore End (154-8).
