SAIF Zaib is setting records wherever he goes these days and he’s just done it again with a colossal double century for his school, RGS High Wycombe.
He smashed 230 in a 50-over game against RGS Newcastle this week, helping Wycombe to their highest ever team total of 411 in 50 overs.
The previous school record was 185, set by David Heavyside of Beaconsfield CC.
Zaib’s feat is not a complete surprise though.
In year 8 he made history as the youngest ever to play for the first XI and in year 9 he became the youngest ever to score a half century and then a century when he made a ton against Haberdashers School.
Zaib, who plays for High Wycombe’s first team, has also represented his county this season and scored a half century for Northamptonshire’s first team against Durham University.
