WORMSLEY Cricket Ground will host three days of international Twenty20 cricket this summer.

The Campus Cricket finals will be held at Wormsley and Aston Rowant CC from July 21 to 23, with universities from Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, India and England all taking part.

The teams, which have all won national titles to get this far, will compete in a round robin stage before the final at The Oval on July 26.

Group stage matches will start at Wormsley at 10.30am and 2pm, and anyone buying a ticket to a group match gets a free ticket to the final.

Those game will launch a busy summer at Wormsley which will some world greats coming to Bucks.

A Words and Wickets festival takes place from July 24-26, which will see famous novelists like Sebastian Faulks and Ben Okri come out to bat for the Authors XI against an Actors XI.

Martin Johnson, Andrew Strauss, Pat Cash and Greg Searle will then hold coaching clinics at Wormsley’s Sportfest in early August before Brian Lara will lead an invitational team out for a charity match against a Warwickshire 1990s team.

Wormsley will also host the Women’s Test between England and India and the final of the Unicorns Knockout Trophy Final.
