HIGH Wycombe CC jumped up to third in the Home Counties Premier League with a victory over Slough at the weekend.
They won by just 15 runs to climb four places in the table and are now within 14 points of leaders Banbury.
Wycombe won the toss at Slough and elected to bat, with opener Alex Morgan top-scoring with 44 from 109 balls.
David Cranfield-Thompson and Gavin Baker both passed 20 in the middle order as Wycombe reached 169 after 54.4 overs.
James Benning then pressed home the advantage with five wickets as Slough were all out for 154.
Meanwhile, Gerrards Cross scraped a draw at Oxford after closing with 110-7 in reply to the host's total of 197-4, and Aston Rowant drew with Tring Park.
