HARLEYFORD Golf Club members will not have to pay annual subscription fees for a second time this year, which was a possibility after the club was bought by new owners after falling into administration.

Harleyford Golf Club Ltd went into administration earlier this summer but has now been bought from the administrators by Harleyford Golf Club Marlow Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Harleyford Group Ltd, who are the landlords of the golf course.

The new owners have placed the club on a firm financial footing and plan to move ahead with new capital expenditure projects.

However, annual subscriptions were lost when the club went into administration, but the new owners have pledged to honour existing subscriptions.

Rob Marsh of The Harleyford Group Ltd said: “We are delighted that we’ve been able to bring the club back on a freehold basis.

“This acquisition will sit well within our existing leisure group and we very much wish to preserve the reputation and goodwill built up over many years.

“We believe Harleyford can be one of the premier clubs in the area and we’re looking forward to working with the members on this exciting new chapter in the club’s history.”
