STUART Lewis suffered more pre season injury woe as he hurt his ankle during last night's friendly win against Wealdstone.
Just like last week at Chesham, the midfielder had to be withdrawn with barely quarter of the game played after picking up another injury.
Assistant manager Richard Dobson said Lewis had damaged the opposite ankle to the one he hurt against Chesham.
He said: "It doesn't seem to be as bad as he first thought. It's one of those which will swell overnight and he'll be in a bit of pain tomorrow.
"It's horrible when that happens in pre season when you're trying to find your feet.
"He wears his heart on his sleeve, he likes a tackle but he's fallen foul of it today. It's a shame, but where we might lose him, it's an opportunity for others."
