Bucks rowers secure British junior title

GOLD medals came the way of a Bucks rowing crew at the British Junior Championships.

Hadley Thomas, Tom Ballinger, Jack Harris and Henry Osborne finished first in the U15 coxed quadruple sculls at Holme Pierrepoint in Nottingham.

The crew, coxed by Sam MacGreggor, completed the 2km course in a time of 7m8.09s.

Thomas, from Asheridge, Chesham, Winchmore Hill's Osborne and Marlow duo Ballinger and Harris are all pupils at Claires Court School in Maidenhead and train together every day under the guidance of coach Tim Wallis Caddell.
