TOMMY Fletcher has joined Wanderers' Bucks neighbours Chesham United on a three month loan deal.

He will be eligible to play for the Generals in the FA Trophy but not the FA Cup after agreeing a deal that lasts until November 9.

The 19-year-old spent time on loan at Conference South side Bishop's Stortford last season.

Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth said: "Tommy learned a lot from his loan spell at Bishop's Stortford last season and this is another opportunity for him to develop his game. He will benefit by playing regular matches and we'll be keeping a close eye on his progress."

Chesham manager Andy Leese said: "Wycombe were keen for Tommy to get regular games in senior football and we need to add some depth to our squad as we start the season. Tommy can play anywhere at the back, and he is an improving player who will only get better while he plays alongside our experienced players.

"There will be plenty of opportunities for Tommy as our season is demanding, and I am sure he will relish the chance to impress."
