FLACKWELL Heath are the early pace setters at the top of the Hellenic Premier League after a prolific start to the new season.

They beat Thatcham Town 3-2 on the opening day and then improved their goals tally to seven with a 4-1 victory at Ascot on Tuesday.

Including pre-season, the Heathens have now won seven games in a row to start the new campaign.

On Saturday they host Bracknell.

Meanwhile, Thame United followed up a 2-0 opening day defeat to Highmoor Ibis with a 2-1 win over Bracknell on Tuesday.

They go to Cove on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in Division One East, Chalfont Wasps endured an horrific opening day as they crashed to an 8-0 home walloping at the hands Didcot Town Reserves.

The only plus point was that only 28 fans were there to see it.

Meanwhile, Penn & Tylers Green were beaten 4-3 on the opening day by Woodley Town. Chris Hurst (2) and Nile O’Meally-Newell scored the goals for Penn, who host Henley at French School Meadows on Saturday.

Stokenchurch don’t kick off until September 6.
