RISBOROUGH Rangers made a winning start to the South Midlands League season with a 2-0 triumph over Arlesey Town Reserves.
After dominating the first half, they went in front in the 50th minute through Will Barnard’s header.
A foul on Barnard then saw Town reduced to ten men, and Rangers made the most of the man advantage late on when David Newton headed their second.
They followed up with a 3-0 win over London Lions on Tuesday.
Risborough to go Harpenden on Saturday.
