BUCKS Free Press reporter Andy Carswell faced the Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth.

The Blues boss faced the freeze himself this week after having a wheelie bin full of ice cold water tipped over him by some of his players.

He was nominated for the challenge by Wanderers chairman Andrew Howard – and after being given a cold shower Ainsworth nominated Andy and his former team mate, AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley, to take part.

After being soaked by News Editor Neil Phillips, Andy selected Marlow Mayor Suzanne Brown, Wycombe MP Steve Baker and Wanderers kitman Stuart Bannister to have ice cold water poured over them.

All nominees now have 24 hours to take on the challenge and you can view their moment under the spotlight, if they accept the challenge, here.

The challenge is designed to raise awareness of motor neurone disease.
