TWO RGS High Wycombe schoolboys will play against each other at Lord’s next week when MCC take on England Schools in 50-over match.
Saif Zaib will play for England while Mark Eteen will represent MCC.
Eteen plays for Chesham’s first team in Division Two of the Home Counties League while Zaib plays for High Wycombe in Division One.
Zaib’s call up continues a sparkling summer for the spinning all-rounder.
He set a new batting record of 230 for the RGS first team and became the youngest player to represent Northants at senior first team level.
He has also played for an England U17s side against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Zaib and Eteen’s selection means RGS High Wycombe will become the first school in the country to have two pupils playing in opposing sides at Lord’s.
Eteen tweeted: "Actually so buzzed to be playing @HomeOfCricket next Thursday #MC."
