CONNOR Kipping added the British U53kg Taekwondo title to his list of achievements at the Manchester Velodrome on Sunday.
John Hampden pupil Kipping won the World Children’s Taekwondo title in February to kickstart a fine year and also proved untouchable in Manchester at the weekend.
He won all his fights with second round stoppages. An array of powerful head kicks prompted the referee to stop his first two fights before his opponent threw the towel in during the final.
His victory adds to a string of impressive results.
He won silver at the Dutch Masters, picked up gold at the Welsh Open and then added another silver and gold at the Liverpool Open and Captital Cup London respectively.
Kipping is part of a team also including Dion Richardson and Ryan Richardson, who train five days a week with Andy Kipping, a former international taekwondo player himself.
