DERBY day honours went Beaconsfield RFC's way on Saturday as they beat Marlow.
Beaconsfield won the tie 15-3 as Marlow's inconsistent form continued.
They've won all their home games but this was their fourth defeat from four matches on the road.
The win gave Beaconsfield a bit more breathing space at the bottom of the table, as they were the only side in the bottom half of the table to win.
The side immediately below them, Bicester, were narrowly beaten 29-28 by High Wycombe, who consolidated second place in the table courtesy of a fifth successive victory.
