WANDERERS have signed attacker Fred Onyedinma on loan from Championship side Millwall.

A former winner of the Lions' young player of the year award, the 18-year-old will remain at Adams Park up to and including January 3.

He came on as a substitute for Millwall against Wanderers when the sides met each other in the Capital One Cup earlier in the season.

Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth said: "Fred caught the eye when we played Millwall earlier in the season and I’m really pleased to bring him to the club.

"He’s a very lively attacker who can play either on the wing or down the middle, and he’s got plenty of pace, enthusiasm and strength which can help the team.

"I’m grateful to Ian Holloway and Marc Bircham at Millwall for allowing Fred to join us and I hope we can play a significant role in the development of yet another talented young player."

Onyedinma will not be eligible to play for Wycombe in the FA Cup however.
