It's a high noon showdown as the fiercest rivalry in Bucks club rugby is renewed tomorrow.

High Wycombe will lock horns with their deadly rivals Marlow at Kingsmead, looking for revenge for their heavy defeat on the opening day of the season.

At stake for the winner tomorrow is a place in the final of the Bucks Cup.

Wycombe will head into the game still smarting from the 36-6 mauling at the hands of their neighbours in the first set of league fixtures back in September.

But they will be the form team as well, having won each of their last seven matches to climb up to second place in the Southern Counties North table.

Wycombe consolidated their place among the division's front runners by the narrowest of margins on Saturday with a 29-28 victory over struggling Bicester.

Marlow meanwhile have since failed to match the dizzying heights they reached in the opening game of the season and go into their trip to the lions' den knowing they've lost all four of their away matches this year.

They suffered their latest one on Saturday as the Riversiders lost another county derby at the hands of Beaconsfield.
