Matt McClure will serve the duration of his three-match ban after Wycombe's appeal against his sending off against Tranmere was rejected.
The FA have dismissed the club's appeal which came after the striker was sent-off for what the referee adjudged to be an elbow on Rovers defender Adam Dugdale.
McClure had only been on the pitch for 3.7 seconds of match action before Mark Heywood flashed a red card his way.
The striker will miss Saturday's trip to Southend and games against Shrewbury and Accrington.
