Matt Bloomfield says he will be planting himself firmly in front of the television tonight to see league leaders Burton take on Stevenage.
The midfielder will be hoping, like the rest of the Wanderers faithful, to see Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s men slip-up against ninth place Stevenage in a match which is being shown on Sky.
Albion have won their last four League Two matches but saw their lead at the top cut to just two points by Wycombe and Shrewsbury’s away wins against Dagenham and Portsmouth respectively.
When asked if he’ll be tuning in to events at the Pirelli Stadium, Bloomfield said: “I will indeed, I’ll be watching that. The wife won’t be able to watch any TV on Monday night as I’ll be sat in front of that.
“She’s used to that. I’m sure all of the lads will be watching. It’s an exciting time of the season, it always is.
“Fast forward on 12 months from last year, when we were at the other end looking over our shoulders all the time, it’s great to be involved looking up at this end of the table and to be involved in some exciting games.
“That’s why you’re involved in the game, and it certainly gives us a lot of enthusiasm and enjoyment from the game.”
