Three league matches, three away wins, 19 goals scored and none conceded underlines just how superior Flackwell Heath have been in the Hellenic Premier Division this season.

Having secured the league title seven days previously with a 7-0 victory against Cheltenham Saracens, the Heathens were ruthless in their final three league games of the season.

The Reds had beaten Shrivenham 8-0 the first time the sides met back in January, but they went three better on Saturday as they romped to an 11-0 triumph.

Joe Blount opened the scoring with just three minutes on the clock before Gavin James netted the first of his four goal haul.

James, who finished as the league’s top scorer with 38, stroked home a spot kick before Radamel made it 4-0 to the visitors at the interval.

Dan Rapley got the ball rolling again after the restart before Radamel bagged his second the game.

James grabbed the seventh and eighth before Blount and a brace from striker Dan Burnell completed the rout.

Two days later, on Monday, Graham Malcolm’s side put four past Reading Town with a double from Rapley and strikes from Burnell and Blount doing the damage.

On Wednesday night it was the turn of Wootton Bassett Town to feel the full force of Flackwell’s attack as they took their goals scored column to 133 with a 5-0 demolition.

Burnell was on target twice to chalk up 32 goals for the season in the league, seeing him finish as third top scorer overall, while Brandon Eaton, Dan Molloy and James also got in on the act. Malcolm’s men lost only once, to Binfield in September, en route to becoming champions, racking up 99 points and a goal difference of +100 in the process.

The Heathens also have the chance to do the double when they play Penn & Tylers Green in the Wycombe Senior Cup final at Marlow’s Oak Tree Road ground on April 29.
