Wanderers have made Jason Banton their fourth signing of the summer, bringing the former Plymouth man to Adams Park on an initial one-year deal.

The 22-year-old will be a familiar face to Wycombe fans after he scored for the Pilgrims in the first leg of the play-off semi-final at Home Park last season.

Banton, who was released by the Greens, follows Garry Thompson, Ryan Sellers and Anthony Stewart in joining Blues this summer.

Gareth Ainsworth said: “Jason is the type of player who will get supporters on their feet and I’m delighted to bring him here.

“He’s got pace, trickery and he can be the spark that can win you a game with one moment of magic. We saw what he’s capable of in the play-offs and we’re confident we can bring that out of him on a consistent basis and make this club his home.”
