Gareth Ainsworth has made his second signing of the day after bringing Danny Rowe back to the club on a three-year deal.

Wanderers have agreed an undisclosed compensation amount with Rotherham for the defender, who has made 24 appearances for Blues over the course of four loan spells.

The 19-year-old, who is primarily defender but who was deployed as a central midfielder on occasion last season, was recalled by Millers boss Steve Evans during the last campaign, ruling him out of Wycombe's run to the play-off final.

Ainsworth said: “It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Danny’s and he’s impressed me throughout his various loan spells with us, so I’m thrilled to be able to make his move permanent.

“He gives us options in a variety of positions and he’s got a lot of ability which I’m looking forward to developing.”
