WANDERERS take on Leyton Orient this afternoon without skipper Paul Hayes who handed the captain’s armband over to Matt Bloomfield who was making his first start of the season.

Hayes was ruled out with the same Achilles injury which forced him out of last week’s home defeat against Plymouth Argyle.

There was also no place in the squad for Sam Wood who continues to be troubled by a knee injury.

With Bloomfield and Stephen McGinn coming in there was no place for Jason Banton who dropped down to the bench.

Centre half Danny Rowe was also benched as Wanderers appeared to pick their side with their opponents half in mind with Sido Jombati again operating as a centre half.

Wanderers line up as follows: Ingram; Jombati, Jacobson, McGinn, Pierre, Thompson, Bean, Bloomfield, Harriman, O’Nien, Ogwu. Subs: Lynch, Banton, Sellers, Amadi-Holloway, Kretzschmar, Rowe, Donacien
